The CTL is responsible for the administration and oversight of the DIBELS Data System. The DIBELS Data System is a web-based database that enables district and schools to enter assessment scores, generate reports, and monitor student reading performance on the DIBELS (Dynamic Indicators of Basic Early Literacy Skills) measures across years for grades K-6, and the IDEL (Indicadores Dinámicos del Éxito en la Lectura) measures for Spanish-speaking students for grades K-3. During the 2007-2008 school year, the Data System was used in over 15,000 schools.
