Professional Development

"Creating solutions to important instructional issues in today's schools"

Mission

The mission of CTL’s Professional Development Group is to translate and disseminate evidence-based research and practices by creating tools and resources that support effective prevention and intervention strategies, programs and systems for all staff and students along the achievement continuum.

Our services include training, technical assistance, consultation, planning, evaluation, and support needed for implementing, sustaining and scaling the use of evidence-based practices for academic achievement. In providing such services, we will enhance schools' capacity to address important educational issues and thereby increase students' opportunities for further success in school and for greater success in life.

Vision

To fulfill our mission, the Professional Development Group will aspire to be a state and national leader in the dissemination of research-proven practices that lead to highly effective school outcomes for students. • Offer cost efficient, online instructional modules that support the practitioner’s need for practical strategies,
  • Support institutional development of robust Response to Intervention programs,

  • Provide instructional leaders with the tools to guide and evaluate effective instruction.
