Welcome to the 2010 CTL Conference Follow-Up website. We hope you will find these activities and tools helpful as you begin to dispense the knowledge and materials you and your colleagues gained by attending the conference. We also hope these materials will be of assistance as you begin to implement some of the key research-based recommendations discussed within each strand.

You will find a number of different follow-up materials within this website. Each topical strand at the 2010 Conference appears on this homepage. By clicking on a strand, you will find a number of conference materials at your disposal. These include presentations and handouts from all speakers within the strand as well as edited audio files of most presentations. In addition, you will find an overview, key concepts and implications for practice that have been compiled to go along with each presentation.

In addition to these static materials, each strand contains a section entitled, “Developing a Professional Development Plan.” Within this section you will find an auditing tool and suggested professional development activities for key recommendations. The auditing tools are based upon the IES Practice Guides discussed within separate strands, and, in the case of writing, recommendations arising from Writing Next, Writing to Read, and other research presented within the strand.
