Announcing DIBELS 8th Edition from the Center on Teaching and Learning, the official home of DIBELS®.

The University of Oregon (UO) and Dynamic Measurement Group (DMG) have amicably settled a dispute regarding the copyright and trademark ownership of the Dynamic Indicators of Basic Early Literacy Skills (DIBELS) and Indicadores Dinámicos del Éxito en la Lectura (IDEL) assessments.

The Center on Teaching and Learning is now one of eight policy centers in a U.S. network.

Congratulations to CTL's Sylvia Thompson and Patrick Kennedy for receipt of a new grant from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) to support the successful implementation of the Reading for Success - National Program for Reading Project in Morocco.

This new grant from the US Department of Education is entitled, "Evaluation of the KinderTEK iPad Math Program.” Mari Strand Cary is the PI and Ben Clarke and Lina Shanley are the Co-PIs.

Julianne Sutherland Masser will receive the College of Education’s Graduate Employee of the Year award on May 19th.

The article “Data-based decision-making teams in middle school: Observations and implications from the middle school intervention project” has won the Assessment for Effective Intervention’s 2016 Article of the Year Award!

Lina Shanley is a recipient of a 2017 UO Faculty Research Award for her proposal, “Making Middle School Mathematicians: Measuring, Monitoring, and Intervening to Improve Math Self-Concept.”

CTL professors have spearheaded a three-year agreement with the US Virgin Islands to improve reading performance among elementary-aged students.
