Exploring Alterable Variables in Tier 1 and Tier 2 Instruction: A Collaboration Across Interdisciplinary Fields of Observational Research

Project CIFOR (Collaboration Across Interdisciplinary Fields of Observational Research) is a 2-year Exploration project (Goal 1) funded by the Institute of Education Sciences (IES). The purpose of CIFOR is to build on and advance the observation work of four previously-conducted CTL projects. Specifically, CIFOR will use observation data collected during the ECRI, ELM, SETR, and MSIP projects to investigate important associations between malleable factors of classroom instruction (e.g., student practice opportunities) and student academic outcomes.
